The course is designed for groundwater scientists and engineers, project managers, and compliance/regulatory program managers in the corporate, consulting and regulatory sectors.
Although basic knowledge and experience in the groundwater sciences will be helpful, the course introduces the basic principles of DNAPL behavior and occurrence in the subsurface needed to understand all of the lectures.
The course should be attended by those who want to learn about the latest advances and the status of new site investigation approaches, technologies and related issues of natural attenuation and impracticability applied to fractured rock aquifers and aquitards.
